This document is written to match what dawaBook actually does today — a directory and contact tool, not a marketplace that sells medicines or guarantees stock. Several sections exist specifically to state that boundary clearly. This is a draft for legal review before publication. Bracketed notes mark points that need a decision or a lawyer's sign-off — they are flagged, not filled in with a guess.
These terms govern your use of the dawaBook app and website. By registering, you agree to them. Please read
them alongside the dawaBook Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and why.
What dawaBook is
dawaBook does not use cookies or website tracking technology of the kind used for advertising, since the app is what most people use — the website is limited to basic information about the service. dawaBook does not show retailers the price (MRP) of any medicine. Manufacturer price data is used internally only, to help match the same medicine correctly when it is listed by more than one wholesaler. dawaBook does not show live stock levels. A wholesaler appearing against a medicine means they have told us they deal in it — not that a specific quantity is available right now. dawaBook does not process any payment for medicines, and takes no part in what a retailer and wholesaler agree between themselves.

We may update these terms as dawaBook changes. Continuing to use the Platform after an update means you accept the revised terms. For significant changes — particularly around payment, as noted in Section 4 — we will make this clear within the app.

This draft has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Sections 7 and 10 in particular — liability limits and governing law/jurisdiction — should not be published without legal review, since they carry real consequences if a dispute ever arises. Confirm the contact details above are correct and current before publication. This document and the Privacy Policy should be published together and cross-referenced, and both should be reachable from the same in-app screen described in the feature request.
